  • Kraken Vekta.5 Clear Front Windshield complete with mounting hardwared. Made in the USA! Our clear Vekta windshield can be painted. Make sure to leave the plastic film on one side till you done painting, then remove it. Exactly like painting a body. If you want to leave the windshield clear, just remove the film from both sides.

  • Slide the 4 supplied 3/8" plastic clamps onto the cage as shown. Make sure the clamps are facing the right way as shown in this picture.
  • Slide the windshield into place between the body and cage.
  • Align the four holes. You will need to tweak your plastic clamps as you install the hardware here. Try to angle the screw so you get through to the other side of the clamp then lightly fasten all four nylocs in place.
  • Do not over tighten the locknuts. The cage will accommodate the 3/8" clamps but it is not perfectly round so you need to have a light touch when tightening up the hardware. If you make them too tight, you may snap the windshield.

    Kraken Vekta.5 clear front windshield!  The Vekta is an awesome truck but the front end is wide open and allows a ton of debris to get in and around your chassis.  Our front windshield is a very simple little item that drastically reduces the amount of dirt that can get into your engine area. A snap to install and they look great too! Simply use the provided 3/8" clamps to attach the windshield to your cage.  No drilling, no modifications.  Made from the same poly material as our 5ive-T & DBXL windows, these things are very durable and add a great look to your truck too.  Includes laser cut windshield, hardware and instructions.

      Nice windshield. Horrible plastic clamps

      I know the windshield only costs $14.00. But I would of gladly paid $20.00 for it, had it been supplied with some decent plastic clamps, or clamps that fit. Had to go to hardware store & get 4 BLACK clamps. Finding four BLACK plastic clamps as opposed to white was a chore. Reply by FFRC Crew: Hi Jeffrey, not sure what clamps you are referring to but we do not supply white clamps. We have never had any white clamps in the shop. We supply the 3/8" standard black clamps which are a perfect fit for the stock cage.
